I'm going into my second year of organic farming... solo!! I want to expand upon my knowledge of growing and expanding my farm business. Last year I sold at two farmer's markets and had the opportunity to sell a few times to local food vendors and wholesale. I was also featured in a local Minneapolis newspaper and got to be interviewed for a national podcast. Had a lot of grand opportunities last year and also many hardships of realizations, that come with being a solo business owner and organic farmer as well.
I have much to learn and I am looking forward to these workshops and meeting others and widening my view of farm life. I also will be farming at an organic farm in Mexico this winter to learn more about farming and building my farm business... plus get out of the snow and into the sun for a time!! ;)
