Miranda is the co-founder and co-owner of Urban Buds, established 2012. Together, she and Mimo Davis grow 70 different varietals of cut flowers annually their one acre flower farm in south St Louis city and sell at Tower Grove Farmers' Market, direct to florists, and design for wedding and events. In addition to farming, Miranda is a Cooperative Extension agriculture educator for Lincoln University of Missouri. She is the mother to son August and a fourth generation beekeeper. She holds a BA from The Evergreen State College (2003) and is originally from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.
